We started Sussex Tech Repair because we were tired of seeing people across Sussex get overcharged for simple fixes, talked into buying new machines they didn't need, or left with no one local to call when something went wrong.
Based in Lewes, in the heart of East Sussex, we're an independent repair shop and tech support service that covers the whole county — from Brighton to Eastbourne, Uckfield to Haywards Heath, and everywhere in between.
We built this business around a few simple ideas. Be honest about what's wrong and what it'll cost. Explain things in plain English. Try to repair before recommending replacement. We're also big advocates of refurbished machines and run a donation programme to give old laptops a second life. A professionally restored laptop with a new SSD and fresh Windows install performs just as well as new, at 40–60% of the cost.
